Now that we have commenced planning a safety campaign, let us know about the concept and objectives of a safety campaign.
 
 A safety campaign is defined as a well-planned activity to energize employees by engaging them through a particular theme related to safety.
 
 The following objectives may be achieved by launching a safety campaign:

  1. Raise awareness on risks, compliance, and safety among employees.

  2. Provide practical solutions to safety-related issues- e.g Identifying incident-prone areas

  3. Demonstrate senior management's seriousness towards safety

  4. The Goals of a campaign should be SMART

  • S - Specific,

  • M - Measurable

  • A - Achievable

  • R - Relevant

  • T - Time-bound
